[CHELATEXX VIT-C (Ascorbic Acid)]

"Second Action to Prevent Ammonia Absorption, Neurotoxic Hyperammonemia and Progressive Cognitive Decline"
"For Treatment of Vitamin C Deficiency, Progressive Cognitive Decline/Alzheimer's Disease"

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) pH 5.0-5.5

  • Essential Vitamin for human life
  • 90 mg is the daily recommended dosage
  • Water soluble Vitamin that the body cannot produce, or store, therefore require daily intake
  • Inadequate Vitamin C ingestion results in Vitamin C deficiency (scurvy)
  • Inadequate Vitamin C ingestion is implicated in Progressive Cognitive Decline/Alzheimer's disease (references next page)
  • Vitamin C is absorbed in the terminal ileum (small intestines) by active facilitated transport absorption
  • Excess Vitamin C not absorbed by active facilitated absorption is absorbed by gradient diffusion
  • Excess Vitamin C  not absorbed by the distal ileum is advanced to the proximal colon (large intestines) by normal peristalsis to ACIDIFY the colon contents
  • Colon ACIDIFICATION by excess Vitamin C reduces colon pH, and neurotoxic ammonia absorption from the colon
